Where: North Sioux City Community Center (205 Sodrac Dr., just off exit #2)

When: Thursday, 11/29 at 7:00 PM

Karen Hall will be giving an educational seminar detailing what to expect from a 400,000 barrel per day refinery.

Karen received an engineering degree from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and was the lead environmental engineer at the Pine Bend refinery in Rosemount, MN. She was responsible for all aspects of environmental compliance and permitting at that facility. She currently lives in Rapid City and has graciously offered to come to Union County to help educate the locals about the proposed refinery.

This will be a great opportunity to ask questions of someone who has actually worked in a refinery. If you have not yet had the opportunity to learn about refineries, please plan to attend.

Please pass this information on to your friends and neighbors.
